Emergency Application Review Terms of Service

  1. All meetings must be scheduled within 72 hours of the application deadline. Meetings scheduled after that date will be based on the consultant's discretion and/or may incur an additional “rush fee”.

  2. Consultants reserve the right to not schedule meetings on the following holidays: Thanksgiving (11/28), Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (12/24; 12/25), New Year’s Eve (12/31).

  3. All hours must be used by 1/15/2023 of the student’s senior year. Any remaining hours expire after that date without a refund under any circumstances.

  4. Students can reschedule or cancel meetings with at least a 24 hour notice. Meetings canceled after 24 hours’ notice will be rescheduled based on consultant’s discretion and could be up to six days later depending on the consultant's availability .

  5. If student does not attend or forgoes a scheduled meeting without notifying the consultant, it will qualify as one of meetings of the service without exception.

  6. If client is late to a meeting, no make-up time will be provided. 

  7. All individual questions should be asked during the meetings. Email support is not provided with this service except for scheduling and administrative purposes.

  8. Additional hours can be purchased in 4 30 minute block increments for $1200 at the discretion of the consultant.

  9. Consultant will provide the first round of feedback with 48 hours of when the student provides the essay and application.

  10. Students are responsible to submit their applications on-time and independently without the consultant. Consultant is not responsible to manage the application timeline for the student and also are not responsible for any missed application deadlines.

  11. Client is aware that Student is responsible for filling in, reviewing, finalizing and submitting all (personal information, extracurricular, testing, and academic) application fields. Accurate information (including, but not limited to full legal name, address, social security number, phone number, extracurricular, testing, and academic) is the full responsibility of the client and his/her family. However, every reasonable effort will be made by the consultant to ensure accuracy and completeness of the application.

  12. Client is aware that Student is responsible for revisions to the application, extracurricular activity list and essays based on the recommendations of the consultant. Consultant will not make any revisions onto the application directly for the student under any circumstances.

  13. Client agrees that ABOUND Education only provides consultation and guidance, and is aware that the applicant must provide original work on each college application.

  14. Student is responsible for the submission of required documentation including but not limited to official test score reports, official community college or high school transcripts, letters of recommendation requests and/or mid-year reports to constitutes a completed application. ABOUND Education is not liable under any circumstances if a supporting document is not received and/or if an application is incomplete.

  15. Client can initiate a full refund after 24 hours after first 30 minute meeting via a written notice to john@aboundeducation.com. After that time period no refund initiated by client is permitted.

Administrative Items

  1. As a matter of policy, there are no refunds for services rendered short by the client for any reason or if hours or services purchased are not fully utilized. 

  2. Exclusive Agreement: This is the entire Agreement between ABOUND Education and Client.

  3. All documents exchanged or shared with Client including are for the exclusive use of the Client and are NOT to be shared with anyone outside of Client and Student.

  4. Modifying Agreement: If any adjustments or modifications are made to this Agreement, such agreements will be put in writing, signed by the parties, and added to this Agreement.

  5. This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the state of California.
